It all started when Simon (founder and CEO) moved to the U.S. at the tender age of 14 not speaking any English.

Seeing Simon struggle to adjust his teacher gifted him a book and said - read this book word by word and your English will improve.

This stuck with Simon all these years later when he founded ChalkBooks to help independent schools raise more money for student scholarships and important programs to support children like him that need extra support.
